Department of English
The department believes in imparting quality education to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The academics in the department provide academic and personal guidance to the students. The academics also supervise PhD research scholars in their specialised areas. They always attempt to create a research ambiance fit for pursuing action/applied research by their scholars. For this purpose, the department as well as college libraries subscribed to different journals and magazines based on updated area on current global scenarios. Apart from curricular activities, the department engages students for preparing them for entrances tests like CUET or UGC Net examination. It also encourages students to participate and pursue other courses related to the Liberal Arts available offline or online. The department organises conferences, seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. It organises different programmes, like Quiz Competition, Extempore Speech Competition, Elocution Competition on debatable topics throughout the year.
