Department of Political Science is one of the vibrant departments in the college. Department strives for promoting awareness on social issues apart from delivering curricular aspects. The curriculum makes it possible for students to have comprehensive as well as in depth knowledge in Political Science so as to enable them to clear competitive examinations like UGC NET and Civil Service Examinations and take up administrative, teaching and research careers with confidence in future. It also encourages multi-disciplinary approach among students Most importantly, the Department endeavours to provide value oriented education and create a healthy academic environment with an objective to generate interdisciplinary approach of learning.
