GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

The Grievance Redressal Cell at CM College serves as an important unit for addressing complaints, concerns, and grievances of students, faculty members, staff, and stakeholders. The cell is dedicated to upholding responsibility and justice as well as creating a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere within the campus community. It functions as a forum where individuals may file complaints with the assurance that their issues will be addressed and handled impartially.

OBJECTIVES OF THE GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

The main goal of the Grievance Redressal Cell is to offer a formalized process for the timely and efficient handling of grievances that college community members may have. The purpose of the cell is to:

  • Provide individuals with a secure, non-judgmental forum to voice their issues and complaints.
  • Assure unbiased and equitable resolution of complaints, upholding the rights and dignity of all parties.
  • Assist in the prompt and proper resolution of complaints, working to reach results that satisfy all stakeholders.
  • Encourage the campus community to adopt a transparent, accountable, and respectful culture.
  • Identify underlying problems and provide solutions to stop complaints from happening again in the future.
  • Encourage the creation of an environment that is conducive to learning and work and free from discrimination, harassment, and other wrongdoing.
  • Maintain the ideals and standards of equity, justice, and fairness throughout all grievance-related processes.
  • The Grievance Redressal Cell works hard to preserve CM College’s institutional culture while also enhancing the general happiness and well-being of its members.

THE COMPLAINT MECHANISM

The Notice Board prominently displays a variety of notices to ensure widespread distribution and to give students in particular access to the information they need. Students can also get E-notices by visiting the college website (https://www.cmclnmu.ac.in/). Students can file complaints or grievances, whether academic or non-academic, in the Grievance Box, which is situated on the ground floor in administrative block. Through the website, the college also makes it possible to file complaints online. Reporting any instances of sexual harassment or ragging appropriate authority is advised. Additionally, students who identify as SC, ST, PH, or Minority are encouraged to report any instances of physical or psychological harassment they may have encountered. Well-established systems including the Grievance Cell, Equal Opportunity Cell, Anti-Ragging Cell, and Prevention of Sexual Harassment Committee are functional. Every complaint is given due consideration, and appropriate actions against offenders are enforced in compliance with the laws and guidelines.
