The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) at C. M. College (Arts and Commerce) plays a vital role in promoting an inclusive environment for students from marginalized communities, including SC, ST, OBC, minorities, and differently-abled individuals. The cell supports these students by providing guidance on academic, financial, and social matters while ensuring equal opportunities for all. Located in a region with significant socio-economic disparities, the EOC works to bridge the gap between disadvantaged groups and mainstream educational opportunities. It fosters a diverse campus by promoting social inclusion, eliminating discrimination, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for students from various backgrounds.

Additionally, the EOC at C. M. College is instrumental in raising awareness about government schemes and welfare programs available to disadvantaged students, such as scholarships and financial assistance. The cell works closely with local government agencies and non-governmental organizations to mobilize resources and ensure that students receive the necessary support to succeed. By streamlining admission and registration procedures for marginalized students and offering regular counseling, the EOC helps create an equitable and supportive academic environment. In doing so, the cell contributes to the college's broader mission of fostering social justice, equality, and academic excellence for all its students.
